Wacken Open Air festival!

In the small German town of Wacken in the state of Schleswig-Holstein things are usually pretty quiet and serene, but once a year, a little festival for small German bands make the town come alive. What started as a small gathering for fans has now become a Mecca for the long-haired, leather and studs wearing contingent of rock fans. This year is no different.
The W:O:A festival is coming up in just a month and though the tickets are long since sold out, there are plenty to be had here!

With an amazing line-up including one of my favorite bands, Avantasia, and Iron Maiden, Lordi, Opeth and others, this will not fail any fan of rock.

As a great aside, Edguy will release their new album in November! I can't wait!
