"This was my first mix, using my favorite software, Sony Vegas, to piece it together. It actually started as a fun project to get all my favorite ambient songs into an hourlong 'lay-in-bed-and-read-a-book-until-I-fall-asleep' mix. Basically, it was my nightly playlist spliced into a non-stop, soothing track. Being a novice at audio mixing, it took me a couple of weeks to get it all done, which was probably shortened because I already had the songs picked out in my playlist. The hardest part is really to get the right songs so they flow properly to create the mood you like."
